I have been working on, in and around the web since 1997. I approach all of my projects as collaborations and work with people interested in creating and developing ideas, organizations and businesses that are innovative, progressive and mindful of their place in a rapidly changing world.
I bring years of media and operational experience to all of my work, both in the realm of business and grassroots organizing.
Taking a brand to the web is a very specific kind of challenge to marry a client’s design aesthetic with the technical constraints and opportunities the web provide. Add to this challenge the range of possible features and functions the web affords and a web project can very quickly become unwieldy. I see one of my primary tasks as a web designer is to identify the needs of a client first and foremost and then craft a design solution to meet those needs.
Content Management System
The day of the online brochure has come and gone. Once you publish a website, it is, by web standards, already out of date. To keep maintenance costs manageable, yet allow for ongoing content development, I provide all of my clients with a robust content management system that allows anyone with basic computer skills to maintain their own website.
Harnessing the power of WordPress, all of my sites can be managed by the client. Content can be added, edited and developed all through a easy-to-use web interface.
